# tuist generate show

Shows information about a generation.

## Arguments

### generation-id

**Environment variable** `TUIST_GENERATION_SHOW_ID`

The ID of the generation to show.

```bash
tuist generate show [generation-id]
```

### project `Optional`

**Environment variable** `TUIST_GENERATION_SHOW_FULL_HANDLE`

The full handle of the project. Must be in the format of account-handle/project-handle. If not provided, it will be read from the project's Tuist.swift.

```bash
tuist generate show --project [project]
tuist generate show -P [project]
```

### path `Optional`

**Environment variable** `TUIST_GENERATION_SHOW_PATH`

The path to the directory or a subdirectory of the project.

```bash
tuist generate show --path [path]
tuist generate show -p [path]
```

### json `Optional`

**Environment variable** `TUIST_GENERATION_SHOW_JSON`

The output in JSON format.

```bash
tuist generate show --json
```

### no-json `Optional`

**Environment variable** `TUIST_GENERATION_SHOW_JSON`

The output in JSON format.

```bash
tuist generate show --no-json
```
