# tuist runner profile update

Change a profile's machine shape, Xcode version, or the branches that save its cache volumes. Omitted options keep their value.

## Arguments

### name

Profile name, without the runs-on label prefix.

```bash
tuist runner profile update [name]
```

### vcpus `Optional`

vCPUs of an available shape for the profile's platform. Pass with --memory-gb.

```bash
tuist runner profile update --vcpus [vcpus]
```

### memory-gb `Optional`

Memory in GB of an available shape for the profile's platform.

```bash
tuist runner profile update --memory-gb [memory-gb]
```

### xcode-version `Optional`

An available Xcode version for a macOS profile.

```bash
tuist runner profile update --xcode-version [xcode-version]
```

### save-cache-from `Optional`

Additional branch name or * pattern whose jobs save the profile's cache volumes. Repeat for several branches. Replaces the current list.

```bash
tuist runner profile update --save-cache-from [save-cache-from]
```

### clear-save-cache-from `Optional`

Remove the additional branches that save the profile's cache volumes.

```bash
tuist runner profile update --clear-save-cache-from
```

### save-cache-from-all-branches `Optional`

Whether every successful job from the repository saves the profile's cache volumes. Pass --no-save-cache-from-all-branches to save only from the default branch and --save-cache-from branches. Omit to keep the current setting.

tuist runner profile update --save-cache-from-all-branches
```

### no-save-cache-from-all-branches `Optional`

Whether every successful job from the repository saves the profile's cache volumes. Pass --no-save-cache-from-all-branches to save only from the default branch and --save-cache-from branches. Omit to keep the current setting.

tuist runner profile update --no-save-cache-from-all-branches
```

### save-cache-from-default-branch `Optional`

Whether jobs on each repository's default branch save the profile's cache volumes. Omit to keep the current setting.

tuist runner profile update --save-cache-from-default-branch
```

### no-save-cache-from-default-branch `Optional`

Whether jobs on each repository's default branch save the profile's cache volumes. Omit to keep the current setting.

```bash
tuist runner profile update --no-save-cache-from-default-branch
```

### account `Optional`

Account handle. Defaults to the account in the project's full handle.

```bash
tuist runner profile update --account [account]
```

### path `Optional`

Project directory.

```bash
tuist runner profile update --path [path]
tuist runner profile update -p [path]
```

### json `Optional`

Return the response as JSON.

```bash
tuist runner profile update --json
```
